Morning Yoga

Start your day with yoga!  The first half of the class incorporates gentle stretching, followed by more active and awakening postures during the second half. This is a great way to feel revitalized and happy all day long.  This class is great for beginners and students of all levels.

 

Gentle Yoga

This class is a gentle blend of simple but effective hatha yoga postures combined with a conscious breath. Gentle Yoga is mostly floor postures such as yoga stretches and twists. Experience stress release, increased flexibility and achieve a greater self awareness.  This class is great for the beginner.

 

Restorative Yoga

This class is a relaxing blend of simple but effective hatha yoga postures. In Restorative Yoga we use yoga bolsters, zafus and blankets to assist us into the yoga postures. Once in the postures we allow the yoga props to support us and allow gravity to do all the work.  We allow the body to soften and the mind to relax as we are verbally guided to relax.  This class helps to gently flex and stretch your spine. Experience stress release, and increased flexibility.   Good for beginners, students with limited mobility, and students that want more of a relaxing stress releasing yoga, with minimal movement.
 

Relaxation Yoga

This class is a half and half bend of Gentle Yoga and Restorative Yoga, ending with a guided relaxation.   Experience, stress release, increased flexibility, and achieve a relaxed state of mind and body.  Good for beginners and students that want more of a relaxing stress releasing yoga class.
 

Stress Relief Yoga

The first half of this class starts with a bend of Gentle Yoga postures and movements.  Then the second half of this class finishes off with relaxing postures from Restorative Yoga.  Alternate nostril breathing is taught and practiced in this class as well.   Experience, stress release, increased flexibility, increased energy and achieve a clearer self awareness.  Good for beginners and students that want more of a relaxing stress releasing yoga, with some postures in the beginning to help achieve that relaxed state of mind and body.

 

Yoga for Energy

This class is an active blend of simple but effective hatha & Kundalini yoga postures combined with a conscious breath. Yoga for Energy is mostly standing postures with long hold times and movements with a strong breath.  Breath of fire is taught and practiced in this class.  Experience, stress release, increased flexibility, increased energy and achieve a clearer self awareness.  Good for students that want more of a workout type of class.

 

ES Flow Yoga (Vinyasa)

Vinyasa is a more active flowing yoga, where one posture flows into the next.  Using breath and posture together, a flow is created to raise the heart rate, promote weight loss, and increase flexibility.  Basic knowledge of the postures is useful. This class is open to all levels; however, if you are new to yoga, starting with gentle yoga is recommended.

 

Breath

In this class you will experience the basic types of breaths used in yoga, such as: 

              Deep Abdominal Breathing
              Holding vs Pausing
              The energy aspects of breath, pull & push
              Sounding Breath
              Cleansing Breath
              Energizing Breath

This class is taught seated and is similar to a meditation class as we focus and practice the breathing techniques.  These yogic breathing techniques are the simplest excises that one can do to release stress energy and are easy enogh to perform anywhere at any time of the day.
